การแก้ปัญหาเชิงระบบ คือการใช้วิธีการเชิงระบบ (Systems Approach) เพื่อวิเคราะห์และแก้ปัญหาที่ซับซ้อน โดยการมองปัญหาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของระบบที่มีความสัมพันธ์และปฏิสัมพันธ์กับส่วนอื่นๆ การแก้ปัญหาเชิงระบบจะช่วยให้เราเห็นภาพรวมของปัญหา ระบุสาเหตุแท้จริง และหาโซลูชันที่มีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน

การแก้ปัญหาเชิงระบบมีขั้นตอนดังนี้

• กำหนดปัญหาที่ต้องการแก้ไข และวัตถุประสงค์ของการแก้ไข
• กำหนดขอบเขตและส่วนประกอบของระบบที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหา
• วิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์และปฏิสัมพันธ์ของส่วนประกอบในระบบ
• จำลองผลกระทบของการเปลี่ยนแปลงในส่วนต่างๆ ของระบบ
• ค้นหาและประเมินทางเลือกในการแก้ไขปัญหา
• เลือกทางเลือกที่ดีที่สุด และวางแผนการดำเนินการ
• ดำเนินการตามแผน และติดตามผล
